Global School of Science (GSS), under the ownership of Global College, is an exclusive center of +2 science which prepares students to thrive in a technology-driven world by building strong academic foundations and practical competencies. We are committed to nurturing future doctors, engineers, and other professionals who can contribute to humanity.

Our mainstream curricula incorporate multiple conceptual, technical, pedagogical, and other crucial aspects of science and technology in compliance with the curriculum effective under the National Education Board (NEB). In addition, the foundational traits of +2 science at GSS are paired with educational components including the concepts, contents, and skills that are timely updated at the power of essential research-driven practices. We ensure that each learner is enabled to deal with natural as well as human induced phenome in emerging trends in today and tomorrow's context.

Our students actively engage in laboratory work, problem-solving, and experiential learning as we believe learning should go beyond textbooks. We have created an environment that promotes critical thinking, innovation, and academic success along with a student-centered approach, advanced facilities, determined administration, and a team of dedicated and experienced faculty. Founded on the principles of developing science through consistently revised approaches while mediating education as a resourceful teaching-learning process, with flexible and participatory systems as key tools, GSS aims to develop academically skilled scientists, technology experts, well-rounded science leaders, and intellectually valuable citizens who are able to grasp ongoing and emerging natural, physical, biological, and technological cultures, leading all required areas for the holistic development of local and global societies.

OBJECTIVES

GSS aims to impart science education in a state-of-the-art and standard environment, enabling every learner to identify and transform his/her inner potential into working competencies, while being prepared to lead global knowledge communities as a distinguished scientist, doctor, engineer, and responsible citizen. Guided by this overarching objective, GSS asserts the underlisted specific objectives:

  • Develop an understanding and appreciation of science as a comprehensive subject based on interconnected dimensions, intrinsic and extrinsic features, skills, values, and mindsets that promote a scientifically informed life.
  • Provide a research-proven science curriculum for teaching-learning, based on a blend of foundational and interdisciplinary approaches integrated with science pedagogy, designed as an exclusive program of research significance to prepare new generations for further study and the application of scientific knowledge and skills in mainstream careers.
  • Foster strong scientific reasoning and logical thinking by mentoring learners through consistently reformed teaching-learning procedures and training across individuals, organizations, institutions, communities, and society at large.
  • Deliver education in physical, biological, chemical, and technological sciences, blended with medical, engineering, information and communication technology, and computing fields, employing innovative learning methods such as conferencing, symposiums, seminars, virtual simulations, and applied science experimentation.
  • Build a community of competent and caring educators with rich experience and multi-disciplinary perspectives, and reinvigorate them with new teaching-learning methods enhanced through continuous professional development opportunities and faculty exchanges.

Our inspiration behind launching GSS has been to educate students for a progressive life career with a study of life sciences, modern technology, engineering, medical science, and more. We have always felt it essential that our learner communities are acquainted with the modern concepts, approaches, and skills of Science and Technology. Its essentiality pertains to using the modern scientific tools, experimenting with the scientific phenomena for a precise understanding of the solutions to the problems: biological, medical, physical, natural, etc., in order to grow scientific knowledge. As Chairman, I am determined to prepare an ambience favorable for our young people aspiring to build strong foundations of knowledge for a prosperous career through Science. We have developed GSS as an exclusive center of Science with an active learning environment that constitutes education through a multitude of modern physical, academic, and technological systems incorporated into a unified interface. An interactive system is, by nature, adequate for creating learning motivation in students, enabling them to engage in experiential and scientifically refined processes of constructing knowledge through experimentation. Authentic and experiential practices are vital components in building an academic process that is essential for achieving quality educational outcomes. In the academic process designed to impart Science education in an exclusive manner, we provide our learning community with modern, high-tech laboratories where students continuously engage in learning through the conduct of practical experiments and problem-solving tasks designed to explore numerous concepts in subjects like Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science. It is plainly visible that present and future contexts are becoming increasingly complex for our younger generations, not only professionally but also in their personal lives, where biological, psychological, technological, and environmental challenges of unprecedented magnitude are emerging. Ominous problems across various domains—health, natural environments, living conditions, technological divides, and more—have already begun to disrupt previously established ways of living and working for humanity.
