Our History

Global School of Science was established in 2019 AD as a private institution under the management of Professional Holdings Limited.

It forms part of a broader network of educational institutions in Nepal, including Global College of Management, Global College International, and others. Built on the academic legacy of these institutions, which have been successfully functioning since 1996, Global School of Science has been launched and is managed as an exclusive center for +2 science education.

It is recognized by generations of students and parents as a close-knit institution committed to making a difference through education. Since its establishment, GSS has consistently achieved outstanding academic results. Known for its academic excellence, it has also established a benchmark learning environment in science through its ECAs and CCAs.

Global School of Science (GSS), under the ownership of Global College, is an exclusive center of +2 science which prepares students to thrive in a technology-driven world by building strong academic foundations and practical competencies. We are committed to nurturing future doctors, engineers, and other professionals who can contribute to humanity.

Our mainstream curricula incorporate multiple conceptual, technical, pedagogical, and other crucial aspects of science and technology in compliance with the curriculum effective under the National Education Board (NEB). In addition, the foundational traits of +2 science at GSS are paired with educational components including the concepts, contents, and skills that are timely updated at the power of essential research-driven practices. We ensure that each learner is enabled to deal with natural as well as human induced phenome in emerging trends in today and tomorrow's context.

Our students actively engage in laboratory work, problem-solving, and experiential learning as we believe learning should go beyond textbooks. We have created an environment that promotes critical thinking, innovation, and academic success along with a student-centered approach, advanced facilities, determined administration, and a team of dedicated and experienced faculty. Opportunities such as science exhibitions, Olympiads, educational tours, and collaborative programs further enrich the learning experience.

I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to all our students, parents, faculty members, and stakeholders at the Global School of Science, an institution under the visionary leadership of Professional Holdings Limited. Our inspiration behind launching GSS has been to educate students for a progressive life career with a study of life sciences, modern technology, engineering, medical science, and more. We have always felt it essential that our learner communities are acquainted with the modern concepts, approaches, and skills of Science and Technology. Its essentiality pertains to using the modern scientific tools, experimenting with the scientific phenomena for a precise understanding of the solutions to the problems: biological, medical, physical, natural, etc., in order to grow scientific knowledge. As Chairman, I am determined to prepare an ambience favorable for our young people aspiring to build strong foundations of knowledge for a prosperous career through Science. We have developed GSS as an exclusive center of Science with an active learning environment that constitutes education through a multitude of modern physical, academic, and technological systems incorporated into a unified interface. An interactive system is, by nature, adequate for creating learning motivation in students, enabling them to engage in experiential and scientifically refined processes of constructing knowledge through experimentation. Authentic and experiential practices are vital components in building an academic process that is essential for achieving quality educational outcomes. In the academic process designed to impart Science education in an exclusive manner, we provide our learning community with modern, high-tech laboratories where students continuously engage in learning through the conduct of practical experiments and problem-solving tasks designed to explore numerous concepts in subjects like Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Science. It is plainly visible that present and future contexts are becoming increasingly complex for our younger generations, not only professionally but also in their personal lives, where biological, psychological, technological, and environmental challenges of unprecedented magnitude are emerging. Ominous problems across various domains—health, natural environments, living conditions, technological divides, and more—have already begun to disrupt previously established ways of living and working for humanity. Scientific challenges are certain to become even more complex in the lives of future generations. In such conditions of extreme challenges, it is therefore essential that our new generations are educated effectively to become more competent and capable of coping with natural, biological, and medical hazards facing 21st-century humanity, both in personal and professional spheres. Taking into account the substantial importance of structural environments, we have constructed state-of-the-art infrastructure within world-class campus buildings, equipped with classrooms and interior facilities supported by high-tech and smart technologies. These advanced physical and technological environments serve as enablers in designing active teaching and learning processes that make a meaningful difference. GSS has been built through the ceaseless efforts of all of you, and we have now achieved several goals and benchmarks we had planned beforehand. In the abundance of expert and intellectual resources dedicated to building dynamic educational processes, we at GSS integrate a series of pedagogical approaches within a transformational framework. Our central curricula are student centric that are then calibrated with the modern technological and intellectual aspects in use. With the student-centric pedagogy, we anticipate our graduates will excel not only in study but also be able to pursue science that will include medical, engineering, IT, etc., courses in the future. Amidst the increasing competition, being educated in Science has an obvious reason. My reasons are to offer our young generations an opportunity to experiment and construct self-explored knowledge, which should therefore be easy to cope with and thrive through new challenges that relate to health hazards, natural calamities, and so on. In view of these, we give high priority to innovative teaching-learning practices further systematized with everyday, weekly, monthly, and other cycle tests designed to provide students with constant exposure to exercise and improve their academic competence and also confidence in order to pass their exams with commendable scores. I am delighted to announce that our highly qualified faculty provide special attention to individual students with a focus on empowering each with the skills required to solve any kind of problem.
